Community Food Bank - help for families, infants, seniors, food stamps, WIC, school meals and soup kitchens

The Community Food Bank has been Serving Tucson and Pima County since 1976.  Feeding the hungry by providing enough food for over 30,000 meals every day to those in our community who need assistance.  

Meeting the immediate food needs of people while working on the long term goal of a hunger free community.   Assisting over 500 charities and agencies to provide food to more than 170,000 individuals each year.  

Arizona Parent Teacher Association - PTA

The mission of the Arizona PTA is three-fold:

* To support and speak on behalf of children and youth in the schools, and before governmental agencies and other organizations that make decisions affecting children;

* To assist parents in developing skills they need to raise and protect their children; and

* To encourage parent and public involvement in the public schools of this nation.

Purposes of the PTA

* To promote the welfare of children and youth in home, school, community and place of worship.
